Pack Meeting - November 7th.  Please wear your class A uniform if you have it. 
Popcorn- Six scouts in pack 191 earned Top Seller Day with the Everblades!  In addition to the party with their families at the Hertz Arena, they will also be entered in “Top Seller” prize drawings.   Twelve scouts in the pack earned Amazon gift cards.  A total of $750 in Amazon gift cards will be issued to these scouts via the email registered in Trail’s End.
Upcoming Events - If you are not planning to attend an event, please use the “regrets” button to RSVP as a “no”.  This allows leaders to plan den activities and the pack to purchase appropriate supplies and food.
Nov 17-19th, camping at MacDill AFB - registration closes Nov 7th at midnight. 
Dec 2nd, Winterfest at Camp Flying Eagle.  Registration is open on the pack website for this one day event and siblings are welcome to join in the fun.  Cost is $20 per person and includes all program materials, a bagged lunch and an evening snack.  T-shirts can be purchased additionally for $12 each by going to Online Payments on the website and using the Winterfest T-shirt option.  Please specify T-shirts size(s) and the name(s) of any family members you are adding in the comments when registering.  Registration closes Nov 25th.

Pinewood Derby -  It’s time to start thinking about your Pinewood Derby car design.  Car kits will be distributed in the next few weeks along with some design information. Rules can be found on the pack website under links.”Files”.

A Job Well Done - A BIG THANK YOU to the 16 scouts and their families that participated in the annual popcorn fundraiser!  The money raised will be a big help to the pack budget, as well as funding scout accounts equally, on top of $750 in earned Trail's End scout gift cards and additional prizes.   As a result of your time and effort, the Pack reached the #2 spot in the Manatee district and #14 in the Southwest Florida Council for sales. 

Annual Dues -   Payment in full is due by October October 24th.    Payment can be made via cash to Jean, check (made out to Cub Scout Pack 191) or electronically via Zelle to Pack191Treasurer@gmail.com or credit card on the pack website under Online Payments.  Or pay with money earned selling popcorn!!  
Health Forms - Be sure to turn in your family's Health forms before the first camping trip.  These can be found on the Pack Website under Files or online here: https://www.scouting.org/health-and-safety/ahmr/ under the Download Form button.  Health Forms A-B must be submitted for each person camping, annually. (Save time by completing and saving it electronically to allow quick annual update).

Other Upcoming Event - Manatee County Sherriff's Office is holding their second annual Spooktactical on Thursday, October 19th from 5-8 p.m at the MCSO Operations Center (600 301 Blvd. W., Bradenton). There will be free food, music, special team demos, MCSO unit and community partner displays, activities, and candy/trick-or-treating.  This is a fun, family-friendly event that is free for our community!
Popcorn  -  Last two weekends to sell.   There are still two shifts available on Saturday October 14th at 2PM or 6PM at Walmart at Ranch Lake Blvd and on Sunday at 11AM or 1PM at Publix at Twelve Oaks Plaza.   These are the last open shifts available, the final weekend, October 22nd is booked.

Next Pack 191 meeting is Tuesday, October 3rd at 6:30PM at Living Lord Lutheran Church.  This will be a Pack & Award Meeting, so please wear your class A uniform.  Class B T-shirt may be worn underneath for activity after awards.
