This week, we will be celebrating our scouts' achievements from the past month and having a Halloween Party.  Please come dressed up in costume!

NEWS AND INFORMATION:
  Halloween Party - Will be on 10/28.  We will have a sign-up this week to volunteer to bring treats.  The boys are allowed to wear their costumes and we will have games for them to play. 
  Pack Hiking - Saturday, November 8th.  Please either "Register" or "Regrets" online so we know who all to expect.  
UPCOMING ACTIVITIES:
   Winter Fest 12/5 - 12/7 @ CFE - Cut off to register for this event is 11/4.  Please "register" or "regrets" ASAP.

Next weekend we are going camping!  Attached is a Camping List of items you will want to bring.  Please remember this is a family campout, so you will need a tent large enough to fit your family.  If your scout is older and would like to use their own tent, they are more than welcome.  We are camping in Hild at Camp Flying Eagle.  It is located on the left when you pull in across from the main parking lot.  Please note ALL participants will need to complete and turn in a Medical Form (I will also bring copies on Tuesday to the meeting) along with a copy of your insurance cards.  As a surprise to the scouts, we will be going to the Archery and BB range Saturday Morning and the Pool in the afternoon, so please be sure to bring swim attire.  If you have any questions, please let us know!

The last Tuesday of every month, we recognize our scouts and all they have achieved the prior month.  At this time, our boys will be awarded their achievements (belt-loops or pins, depending on rank).  We ask that scouts wear their Class A uniforms (if you do not have one yet, that is perfectly fine) or scout shirt (again, if you do not have one yet, that is okay).  This meeting will typically not be the full hour.  We start with our opening, cover any announcements, then go den by den to hand out awards.  When we are finished, we may play a pack game outside for a while, depending on the weather.  It's a great time to celebrate all of our scouts and the things they have learned.

Things are starting to settle as our dens have grown and our scouts are getting to know one another and their leaders.  Please let us know if you are interested in selling popcorn, as it is a great way for the boys to raise money for their scout accounts.  As you explore our website, please make sure you check out the calendar and start registering or regretting for upcoming activities.  

It's been a busy but amazing week for our Pack!  We have doubled in size and want to welcome all of our new scouts and families!  We are in the middle of popcorn sales, so if you would like to participate, please let me know and I will get your scout registered through Trails End.
